Snow Days!

A blanket of snow has hit the Puget Sound, and my family couldn't be enjoying our days "stuck" at home together more than we are!  It feels great to be a kid again through our little ones - watching their excitement as the snow continues to fall and accumulate, and their joy as we build an igloo (no small feat) and sled down our tiny little backyard slope.  The games don't have to be grand; even the smallest gestures (like a cup of hot chocolate as they come in and dry off) add the most to their happiness.  For me, it's all about the time spent together as FOUR.

Ever seen a black pug on white snow?  Our Dexter gets in on the action.

Our snow bunny, Sylvia

Hayden - paused at the end of a sled ride where he ended up flat on his back.

Our beautiful border collie Bella

Getting a lift from Daddy

We couldn't get Sylvia to stop eating snow, so we told her just to avoid the yellow stuff.

Our silly boy, doing a backwards angel in the snow.  Yikes!

Sylvia shows him how it's done.

Winter joy!!!
