New Year = Big News & a Portrait Session Contest!

Happy New Year! The new year has already brought new changes to my photography business, and I am so excited to share the news with you! Starting on February 1st, I will be in a new studio space in the SoDo district - just kitty-corner from Safeco Field in the old Bemis Building. As you can see in the photo above, this 1100 square foot space is filled with gorgeous natural light, and plenty of fun space for your little ones to play! It is truly my dream studio space, and will be perfect for maternity, baby, child and family portraits, as well as business portraits, seniors/teens, and the photography workshops that I teach (see more information below). I cannot wait to start the year off creating beautiful portraits in this new studio. On that note, I do advise that you contact me right away to schedule your next session in order to reserve your date and time of choice!

I am also holding my first ever contest!  Are you desperately in need of a new family portrait or new portraits of your children?!! Entries must be submitted by MONDAY, JANUARY 23rd (that's two weeks from today). The entry will the most "likes" will win the free session, so be sure to spread the word like wildfire and have your friends and family vote for your entry by January 31st, when the contest will end. Did you or a loved one get a new camera over the holidays?  Perfect!  I am once again offering my popular workshop to teach you how to take better photographs of your children. The workshop will be held in my new Sodo studio, and include lunch and beverages for just $129 per person or $239 per couple.  

When: Sunday, February 12, 2012 from 10 am - 2 pm

Where: Teddi Yaeger Photography Studio in the Bemis Building, 55 S. Atlantic Street, Seattle, WA 98134. (There are a few free parking spaces available around the building. Otherwise, there is a pay-for-parking lot just across the street.)

What: This workshop covers the fundamentals of subject matter, composition, lighting. I’ll take you step by step through your camera, and teach you invaluable tricks for turning your kids into perfect subjects. Please bring all of the camera equipment that you currently use - camera, lenses, flash - as well as your instruction manual for reference.
